An air-conditioned vehicle will drop you off at the access to the Etna Park, from where you will start the ascent to the volcano accompanied by an expert guide. Etna Park covers an area of more than 59,000 hectares and encompasses both the slopes of the volcano and its summit. It is divided into several zones, each with its own natural features: coniferous forests, lava flows, lunar landscapes and green meadows. The park offers the opportunity to observe volcanic activities such as fumaroles and boiling mud pools up close. With a bit of luck, golden eagles, foxes, chamois and other animals can be spotted during the walk.
