Immerse yourself in the magical world of Beatrix Potter with this 5-hour tour of the Lake District from Windermere with transport included. You'll begin your experience with a boat trip on the stunning Lake Windermere, England's largest lake. From the boat, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the idyllic scenery that surrounds the region, as well as on-board commentary about the area.
Once on dry land, you'll head to Hill Top, the home of Beatrix Potter. This charming cottage was the author's home for many years and was the inspiration for many of her best-loved children's stories. You can explore the rooms of the house and discover how Beatrix Potter lived in her time. You can also admire the beautiful gardens surrounding the property.
After visiting Hill Top, the tour continues to other Lake District landmarks that were important to Beatrix Potter. You will see Hawkshead Grammar School Museum, the home of the poet William Wordsworth and explore the school where he studied.
At the end of the tour you can enjoy the panoramic views of Tarn Hows. There you will be able to photograph the lake with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside and mountain peaks.
