Step by Step

Discover the city of Valencia and its architecture with this bike tour of about three hours through the old town and the Jardín del Túria . With a professional guide you cycle through the city centre and past beautiful historic buildings and monumental squares. Discover amazing monuments, beautiful bridges and authentic works of architecture, in small groups of about 15 people.

Get on board your bike with your helmet and your guide and together start pedalling through the streets of the city centre. Cycle through the pleasant narrow streets of Valencia and past the monumental Plaza de la Virgen . Here you can admire three emblematic buildings of the city: the Cathedral of Santa María, the Basílica de los Desamparados and the Palace of the Generalitat Valenciana. In the heart of the historic quarter you will also see other spectacular buildings, including the Gothic Cathedral of Valencia and the Serrano Towers, one of the defensive gates that guarded access to the old Valencia.

As well as seeing authentic historical symbols of the city, you'll also be immersed in nature surrounded by trees and green spaces. Step into one of Valencia's most visited parks and stroll through the Jardín del Túria at a leisurely, relaxed pace. Explore this 10-kilometre long green park on your bike and along the way you'll see the beautiful Puente de las Flores and the incredible Puente de la Exposición (Exhibition Bridge), special for its peculiar design.

You'll also see the famous Palau de la Música, the city's auditorium. Musical events, congresses, exhibitions, shows, film screenings and many other cultural activities are held here. Be amazed by the gigantic Gulliver Park, a theme park with rides and slides on the sculpture of the fairytale character Gulliver. It's an ideal attraction for a day out with the little ones.

You will continue your tour until you reach the City of Arts and Sciences. This architectural and scientific complex is an essential visit if you come to Valencia. Admire this splendid work of the Valencian architect Santiago Calatrava and with your guide, learn all about the science museum, the opera house and the Hemisfèric, an IMAX cinema. From here you can see the Oceanográfic, the largest aquarium in Europe with more than 500 species.

During this tour you can enter the Umbracle, a viewpoint and garden promenade with views of the City of Sciences. At night this environment becomes an incredible chic discotheque where you can have a delicious cocktail or champagne.

I love cycling so I didn't hesitate to hire this service. It was the best way to get to know Valencia. The only thing I felt was that the ride was a bit short, otherwise everything was fine.
