Get ready for an exciting half-day experience as you explore the Uros Islands in Lake Titicaca on a thrilling kayak tour. This adventure will take you into the heart of the Lake Titicaca National Reserve, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and unique culture of the region.
Throughout the tour you will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will teach you many interesting facts about the national reserve's ecosystem, history and culture. You will also familiarise yourself with the equipment and basic kayak paddling techniques.
Once on the water, you will paddle at your own pace surrounded by spectacular scenery. The Uros Islands, built of reeds and known for their uniqueness, will be part of your route.
After an hour of paddling, you will stop at Suma Kile Island, one of the ancient floating reed islands of the Uros. Here you will have the opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their history and way of life. The tour will conclude with a transfer back to the original starting point, as this is a round trip.
