The tourist bus in Mexico City runs until late at night, so both day and night it offers several advantages compared to other means of transport and ways of exploring the city. But in general, this type of transport offers you comfort during the whole journey because the buses have air conditioning, toilets and comfortable seats.

On the other hand, you should know that the tourist bus is quite accessible, meaning that as a tourist you will be able to easily access many of the main attractions of the city. This is a great advantage if you are travelling to the city for a short time and also if you have already done a bike tour in Mexico City and now you want to get to know the city from the bus.

Another advantage of doing this tour is that it gives you a taste of Mexican culture and traditions, without the need to walk too far. It is also a safe way to get around the city, especially if you have never been to Mexico City before and are afraid of getting lost in the city.

This system is also advantageous because it allows you to get to know the city by making as many stops as you want, without having to pay a ticket to get on at each stop. So if you are making a short trip to Mexico City and you want to do some sightseeing to get to know each of the attractions of this city, the tourist bus is a good alternative, because it allows you to get on and off as many times as you want.

As for the timetable of each of the buses, you should know that these routes usually have a fixed timetable of uninterrupted service throughout the year, which goes from 9:00 to 21:00. In this case, as it is a Hop on Hop off service, you can get on and off the bus as many times as you like along the route.

On the other hand, it is also true that several of these routes have their own specific timetables. For example, the Centro Histórico route, which has 19 stops, is open from 9:00 to 19:00. The Polanco Hipódromo-Chapultepec route, with 7 stops, has a schedule that goes from 11:00 to 19:00.

The operation of this tourist bus is quite simple. Basically, it is a series of circuits that offer an uninterrupted transport service throughout the city, all year round. They run almost all day long and give you the opportunity to hop on and off the bus as many times as you like. As a rough approximation, buses leave every 20 minutes, although this frequency may vary according to traffic.

As for booking the ticket to get on the tourist bus, you should know that you can do it directly online. You choose the route or routes you want to take and then buy the ticket you want to use, whether it's a one-day or two-day ticket. You also have the option to choose the specific tours you want to do throughout the city.

Once you've bought your ticket, it's time to get your voucher, which you can use to get on and off the bus as many times as you like. Keep in mind that with the purchase of these tickets, you are not guaranteed entry to each of the places you will stop at with this bus, as these are at your own expense.

After buying the ticket, you will have one or two full days, depending on the option you have chosen, to make use of your ticket and start getting to know the city aboard this CDMX sightseeing bus.
