Accompanied by a local guide you will have the opportunity to listen to narrations about the historical events of the city, while exploring landmarks such as:
- Cesis Castle: historical complex housing the ruins of the Medieval Cesis Castle, dating back to the 13th century. The tour includes the entrance to the castle, where you will have access to its towers.
- Princess's House: 18th century mansion which now houses a museum showing a glimpse of the aristocratic life of the time, with beautiful gardens and elegant salons.
- Church of San Juan: Gothic church and important religious temple from the 13th century. It is characterised by its incredible architecture and historical decorative elements.
- Cirulisi Nature Trail: a trail of approximately 6 kilometres along the Gauja River.
In addition, you will see other sites of interest such as the Town Hall and the Casa Mercantile, which is a historical building related to the trade of Cesis.
