This volcanic treasure is located in the north of Iceland. The comfortable minibus ride to the lake is included in the package. On the north-eastern shore of the lake, you will find the cosy village of Reykjahlíð, with its tourist information centre and base for exciting expeditions in the area.
In the course of the excursion, you will have the opportunity to marvel at the picturesque Skútustaðagígar Pseudo craters, formed by explosions when the fiery lava met the icy waters of the lake. The Dimmuborgir lava fields will fascinate you with their unique lava columns and formations. In addition, you can explore the Grotcaja cave and crevices, as well as immerse yourself in the geothermal area of Hverir, where mud boils, fumaroles rise and sulphur pools create a surreal spectacle.
