The first stop will take you in front of the incredible Godafoss waterfall, known as the "Waterfall of the Gods". This natural gem is one of the most beautiful in Iceland. Its name comes from an ancient event in Icelandic history when the leader threw his pagan idols into the water, marking the Christianisation of the island. The spectacle of the rushing waters tumbling over the cliffs is simply breathtaking.

Continuing the adventure, you will delight in the unparalleled beauty of Lake Mývatn. You can explore the natural steam springs and mud pools of Hverir, as well as the fascinating lava formations of Dimmuborgir. If you wish, you can enjoy the natural baths of Mývatn, although this is at an additional cost.     The visit to Godafoss and Lake Myvatn was quite a cool experience, the nature there is breathtaking. What I liked the most was the contrast between the turquoise water of the waterfall and the volcanic landscape, spectacular!
