Prague Tour including Astronomical Clock Tickets

With this guided tour, you will have the use of tickets to Prague's medieval astronomical clock tower, which is located in the heart of the capital's old town. The tour inside the tower and the surrounding area, which will be conducted by an expert guide, will last approximately two and a half hours.

Prague's astronomical clock is one of the most photographed places by tourists visiting the European capital. Dating from the 14th century and shaped like an astrolabe, it has three components that you can see:

• The astronomical quadrant: it shows you the time, as well as the positions of the moon and the sun in the sky.
• Animated figures: with the figures of the twelve apostles.
• Circular calendar: showing the months of the year

As well as marvelling at the outside, you also have access to the inside of the astronomical clock tower, where they will explain the mechanism of this complex element. And if that's not enough, you can climb to the top of the tower for incredible views of the city.

Your guide will also take you to other areas of Prague to complete the tour. In the old town you will see numerous churches, theatres and houses, such as those where the composer Amadeus Mozart or the physicist Albert Einstein lived.

The tour will also extend to the new part of Prague, where you and your guide will explore Wenceslas Square, formerly known as the horse market. It is part of the centre of Prague and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
