Step by Step

Get to know the monuments dedicated to Franz Kafka, the famous Czech writer, as well as his life and the history of the city while he lived in Prague. Kafka was the author of the classic and revolutionary book 'The Metamorphosis'. Throughout this 2.5 hour tour, you will learn about the context in which he lived while writing this work, as well as the influence his life has on the city today.

To do this, you will spend this time walking through the most important streets of the city with a tour guide. This guide will make different stops, which will always be related in one way or another to the author. These will include monuments dedicated to the author, as well as important places in his life.

One of these stops will consist of one of Kafka's favourite and most frequented cafés. This café still serves today, and this tour includes a coffee, tea or soft drink from this establishment. In addition, at each of the stops a short extract from Kafka's works will be read that is related in some way to the place.

One of the most important aspects of Prague 's history is its multiculturalism. However, there is one religion that was greatly affected during part of its history. This is none other than that of the Jews, of which Kafka was a part, so during the tour you will also visit the Jewish quarter and learn the stories of thousands of people who lived there.
