Step by Step
On thisexcursion to the Wonderful Bridges and Rhodope Mountains from Plovdiv, you will visit an impressive natural rock formation. In addition, you will be accompanied by a professional guide at all times. Discover the history and beauty of Bulgaria, taste its food and stroll through the village of Kosovo and the Bachkovo Monastery.
Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation or a pre-arranged meeting point. From there you will move in a small group of no more than 8 people to the Wonderful Bridges. Surrounded by nature, you will get to know some millenary rock formations created by the erosion of water. You will be impressed by these unusual bridges, some of which are over 100 metres high and 50 metres wide.
After marvelling at the Wonderful Bridges, you will enter the Rhodope Mountains. On the way you will visit Kosovo, a small rural village with a lot of charm. There you will have the opportunity to taste some food and get to know the gastronomy of the region. Before returning, you will visit the Bachkovo Monastery, which played a poignant role during the Second World War.
During the 9-hour excursion, you will enjoy the Bulgarian nature and learn about the local culture. This activity is perfect for nature, history and food lovers, as it offers a complete experience in a unique environment.
