Step by Step
This tour starts in Manaus and goes to Presidente Figueiredo National Park, an area known for its natural beauty and biological diversity. It is home to numerous plant and animal species, as well as streams, waterfalls, rivers and rock formations. The tour lasts approximately 6 hours and includes an expert guide, hotel pick-up and drop-off and transportation in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
The tour includes a walk inside the Gruta do Refugio do Maroaga, full of stalactites and stalagmites that originated over millennia by the deposit of minerals dissolved in water droplets. You can also admire the park's most famous waterfalls - Cachoeira do Santuário and Cachoeira Iracema - whose water jets form natural pools perfect for swimming.
The excursion gives you the opportunity to spot the local fauna, which is vast and varied. Several species of tropical birds nest here, including toucans, hummingbirds and songbirds, as well as monkeys, pumas, tapirs and giant anteaters. The waterways are perfect habitats for caimans, toads, turtles and dozens of other species.
To fully enjoy the experience, wear clothing and footwear suitable for a rainforest excursion. It is advisable to bring a swimming costume, insect repellent and a change of clothes.
