Step by Step

This tour is recommended for outdoor enthusiasts, hikers and those looking for an adventurous activity. The hike lasts approximately 5 hours and takes you through Yosemite National Park, the most iconic and famous national park in the Sierra Nevada, California. You can choose from 5 itineraries according to ability (beginner, intermediate, moderate, demanding or expert) and includes an expert guide.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to admire the panorama of the park. The most famous viewpoint is Glacier Point, which looks out over Yosemite Valley. From here you can enjoy a view over the following places:

  • El Capitan - One of the first great monoliths to be climbed in the United States. In the 1950s, mountaineer Warren Harding was the pioneer to reach the summit. It is distinguished by its majestic granite wall that rises almost 900 metres.
  • Cathedral Lakes - Two alpine lakes in the Tuolumne Meadows area. The reflections of the surrounding peaks and the blue sky are perfect for unforgettable photos.
  • Yosemite Falls - With a total drop of about 739 metres, they are among the highest waterfalls in North America. During the spring and early summer months, when the snowmelt is at its peak, a mist creates a mist that transforms the surrounding environment into a magical place.

If you choose the expert route, you'll have the opportunity to climb Half Dome, a popular destination for climbers and adventure enthusiasts. It is a gigantic polished granite summit that appears to have been cut in half, hence its name, meaning 'half dome'. It rises 1,444 metres above Yosemite Valley and the effort to reach the summit is rewarded by an incredible panorama.

My partner and I opted for the intermediate hike and it was the most romantic trip. The views from Glacier Point took our breath away and sharing that moment together was magical.
