This tour, which lasts approximately 2 hours, will start from a central location in the neighbourhood. Together with an expert guide, who will lead you at all times, and in small groups of about 20 people, you will walk for about 3 kilometres.
Along this walking tour, you will pass through various historical destinations. From the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal National Historical Park to mansions like the Laird-Dunlop House. You will also see the Newton D. Baker House, the luxurious home that Jackie Kennedy bought in Georgetown.
In addition to this, you will also see the Georgetown Female Seminary, a school that served the upper class. You will also pass by the Grafton Tyler Double House, Christ Episcopal Church and the Hyde-Addison School to learn about their history in more detail.
