Step by Step

The forests of Alaska are the perfect setting for a zip line descent. By choosing this activity you can zip through the wilderness on a wire, experiencing the sensation of speed in complete safety. The Seward centre consists of 8 zip line courses, 3 suspension bridges and 2 abseils. The experience is designed for small groups and lasts approximately 3 hours.

Once at the meeting point, a vehicle will take you to the zip lines. Here you will meet an experienced instructor who will explain how the experience works and give you useful tips on how to get the most out of it. You will then be ready to put on the necessary equipment, i.e. harness, helmet and gloves.

The bald eagle, the symbol of the United States, lives and nests in these forests. It is recognisable by its white plumage around its head, powerful tail and large yellow beak. It is also the habitat of elk, porcupines and dozens of other species. The guide is highly qualified and will inform you about the local ecology and geography.

The most appropriate clothing for a zip-line descent includes closed sports shoes and long trousers. No jewellery or accessories may be worn as they could get caught.

The huskies were friendly, energetic and very well cared for. I loved interacting with them, learning about their training and seeing how they enjoyed running!

I have never seen my children enjoy themselves as much as they did on this ride. The transport platform was large and safe, much better than I have seen elsewhere.

Besides the walk, the time we spent with the puppies was perfect for the children. We will remember it for a long time :)
