Step by Step
Embark on a vintage yacht trip and enjoy an unforgettable view of the San Diego coastline. During the approximately 2 to 3 hour tour, you will be able to enjoy the stunning colours of the sunset from the sea. In addition, you will enjoy craft beer, white wine, water, soft drinks and delicious snacks.
The boat is made of wood and has a sail and period furniture. Along the way, the yacht passes close to the following San Diego attractions:
- Maritime Museum - A collection of sailing ships, Navy submarines, schooners and other vintage vessels.
- Coronado Bridge - A spectacular curved bridge linking San Diego and Coronado. It is very high as it has to allow the passage of navy ships housed at the city's military base.
- USS Midway Museum - A US Army aircraft carrier that was the largest ship in the world until 1955. Today it is a museum and allows visitors to discover what life was like on board.
- Coronado Island - A peninsula famous for its beaches, restaurants and historic buildings. The most impressive is the Hotel del Coronado, a Victorian-style complex.
- Seaport Village - A shopping centre built like an open-air Spanish village. It has a beautiful promenade with restaurants, bars, greenery and shops of all kinds.
- Marina Park North - A park designed by landscape architecture firm Wimmer Yamada & Associates.
As a bonus, the city's waters are home to sea lions and dolphins. This mini-cruise is available year-round but is subject to weather conditions. Despite California's warm weather, it is advisable to dress in layers, as the temperature drops significantly at sea.
