Step by Step
Enjoy a two-hour guided tour of the Chelsea neighbourhood and visit the Meatpacking District, Chelsea Market and The High Line elevated park.
During the tour, your guide will direct you to the best spots in Chelsea, one of the most changed neighbourhoods in the United States over time. Once an industrial neighbourhood, today it's a residential area full of art, boutique shops and restaurants.
You'll explore the Meatpacking District. Originally a crowded area of meatpacking plants, it's now a trendy area with designer shops.
One of Manhattan's most famous parks awaits you and that is The High Line. It is built on the tracks of a railway. From this point you will have spectacular panoramic views of the city.
You will visit Chelsea Market, a conglomeration of shops, restaurants and offices located in the Chelsea neighbourhood. If you feel like it, you can indulge your palate at this point with treats or a bite to eat.
As you walk through the streets of Meatpacking, you can take in the architecture of the Whitney Museum of American Art, a museum founded in 1930 by Gertrude Vanderbilt. It has more than 18,000 works of art.
Other places that you will be able to appreciate in your excursion:
- Tenth Avenue: known as the "Avenue of Death", so called because of the many accidents that occurred with trains and other vehicles during the 19th and early 20th century.
- Diane von Furstenberg: a fashion salon.
- Gansevoort Liberty Market: a food market with a range of dining options.
This trip is the ideal plan if you want to relax in a serene atmosphere in the Big Apple. Take the opportunity to visit the charming streets of Chelsea.
