Step by Step
On this guided tour of about 2 hours in a small group, you will tour some of Nashville's most iconic neighbourhoods and visit 4 to 6 of its most famous pubs.
Nashville is the state capital of Tennessee and one of the birthplaces of country music. It is known as Music City, due to its thriving record industry and its many museums dedicated to music. The city is also popular for the neoclassical architecture of its buildings and for being home to the famous Tennessee Whiskey .
You'll pass through Printer's Alley, a former paper-making district. In the early 20th century, its streets were home to two major newspapers, 10 copy shops and more than a dozen publishing houses.
The neighbourhood soon became a place for nightlife entertainment. During the Prohibition years , it was a common location for illegal bootlegging in Nashville. Today, it's filled with pubs and colourful neon signs advertising some of the city 's best pubs .
You'll also pass along 2nd Avenue, considered Nashville's liveliest street. In the bars along this street, you can enjoy cocktails you've never tasted before while dancing to live country music . The city's craft beers , considered some of the best in the country , are also famous.
The city's most famous shot is the Tennessee Moonshine, made from the region's famous whiskey. A must-try for a true taste of Nashville's cocktail industry.
