Step by Step

Take the opportunity to take this bus tour of Houston, including admission to the NASA Special Center. Learn about a city characterised by its multiculturalism, its gastronomy, its industry, its art and, in addition, for being the headquarters of US manned space activities.

The experience will last approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. On this tour you will not only walk through the bright and charming streets of Houston, but you will also immerse yourself in the country's space history at the Space Centre Houston where you will be able to skip the lines and visit the interactive exhibits.

Houston is the fourth most populous city in the United States and the first in the state of Texas. Founded in 1836, Houston's economy was largely based on agriculture. However, from the 20th century onwards, oil was discovered there, so the economy diversified and large and important industries were created.

The city was filled with skyscrapers and became a multicultural hub with a wide range of gastronomic offerings. On your bus tour, you'll pass landmarks such as Discovery Green, Market Square Park, Tranquility Park and the Downtown Aquarium.

Undoubtedly, one of the most visited attractions in Houston is the NASA Special Centre, which you can visit on this experience. Open since 1992, it is the official visitor centre of NASA's Johnson Space Center and houses more than 400 space objects, artefacts, permanent and travelling exhibits, attractions, live shows and theatres dedicated to the history of American spaceflight.

I quite liked the tour of the Space Centre for the insight into how astronaut technology has evolved and how pilots are exposed to new challenges today.

Nice everything, especially the part of the space centre. The ships and the history make you very attentive, the guide complemented the information very well.

Everyone was highlighting the visit to the space centre, but I would also like to point out how nice the Downtown Aquarium is.
