On this tour you will have the opportunity, for about 7 hours, to visit some of Istanbul's lesser-known but most charming neighbourhoods and monuments. You will be accompanied by an expert guide, thanks to whom you will learn about the history and culture of the places you will visit.

In order for you to enjoy an intimate experience with your trusted companions, the tour will be private.

Throughout the activity you will also have the opportunity to sample delicious traditional Turkish cuisine at local food markets in the capital. Among the places you will visit are the following:

  • Ortakoy neighbourhood: This neighbourhood is located on Istanbul's European coast, in the Besiktas district, and is known for its 18th century mosque and its popular souvenir market. It is also famous for its delicious kumpir, a baked potato stuffed with cheese, butter and other ingredients.
  • Rumeli Fortress: This is a fortress located on the European shore of the Bosphorus in the Sarıyer district of Istanbul. It was built by Sultan Mehmed II in 1452 to control shipping traffic on the Bosphorus and to prepare for the final siege of Constantinople . Today it is a popular tourist site due to its impressive architecture and panoramic view of the Bosphorus.
  • Camlica Hill: A hill located on the Asian side of Istanbul in the Uskudar district. It is the highest hill in Istanbul and offers a spectacular panoramic view of the city, especially of the Bosphorus. It also has several restaurants, cafes and picnic areas.
  • Beylerbeyi Palace: A historic palace located in the Üsküdar district of Istanbul on the Asian shore of the Bosphorus. It was built in the 19th century by Sultan Abdulaziz as his summer residence. The palace isfamous for its architecture and interior decoration, which combines Ottoman and European elements.
  • Camlica Mosque: It is a mosque located on Camlica Hill on the Asian side of Istanbul. It was inaugurated in 2019 and is the largest mosque in Turkey and the seventh largest in the world. Its design is a combination of Ottoman and modern elements, with a capacity to accommodate more than 60,000 people.
  • Kadikoy Carsisi: A food market in the Kadikoy district of Istanbul, on the Asian side of the Bosphorus. It is one of the largest and oldest markets in the city, offering a wide variety of fresh produce, from fish to vegetables and fruits. It is also a popular place to sample the famous Turkish desserts.
  • Ciya Sofrasi: You will have lunch at this restaurant in Istanbul's Kadikoy district, famous for its Ottoman and Anatolian cuisine . The restaurant has a wide selection of regional Turkish dishes and uses fresh, natural ingredients. It is also known for its commitment to preserving Turkish culinary traditions.

    What a tour, what an experience! One of the best days we spent in Istanbul was with this service. There is so much to see in the city that one day is really not enough, but at least we got a great overview of the city.
