Travel through incredible Cantabrian landscapes with this half-day excursion to El Soplao Cave from Santander. Join this approximately 4.5 hour tour and in small groups of around 8 people travel through the beautiful Cantabrian countryside. Hop into a comfortable vehicle after pick-up from your hotel and head for Rionansa, home to one of the best caves in Spain. Enjoy a walking tour inside the cave, discover abundant formations together with a local guide and don't miss the views of the landscape of the Ria Menor from a beautiful viewpoint in Pechón.

After being picked up from your hotel, you will board a private vehicle and travel to the municipality of Rionansa, where El Soplao Cave is located. Enjoy the beautiful Cantabrian countryside along the way and contemplate the valleys, forests and mountains typical of northern Spain.

On arrival, you will enjoy a guided tour of the cave and its various galleries . Take a small train to this old Cantabrian mining site and marvel at this natural geological wonder. Walk inside the cave for about 90 minutes with your guide and observe the many rock formations that have been formed over the years. You will see spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, columns, rock pearls and speleothems scattered throughout the cave.

After visiting this marvel, you will continue the excursion through the beautiful landscapes of Cantabria until you reach the Pechón viewpoint . From here you will enjoy incredible views of the Cantabrian Sea and the estuary of the Tina Menor estuary, an impressive natural landscape in its entirety. After this short stop, you will return to your hotel in Santander.
