Step by Step

This guided tour of Mallorca will take you for a full day to discover the western part of the island. A bus will pick you up at your hotel or pick-up point and take you through the Tramuntana Mountains to La Calobra. Your expert local guide will take the opportunity to explain the most interesting facts about the area while you enjoy the superb views.

The road to La Calobra is unique for its impressive rock formations, characteristic of the west coast of Mallorca. Moreover, this 13-kilometre road, built in 1929, is known as one of the most spectacular in Europe . Along the route, you will pass several points of interest:

  • The Lluc Sanctuary
  • The Puig Major
  • The torrent of Pareis, a canyon of more than 3 kilometres that runs through gorges.

Once in La Calobra, you will have free time to explore the village, have a drink in one of the small cafés around the port or relax on the beach.

The second part of the excursion takes place on board a boat that will take you on a journey of approximately 40 minutes to the port of Sóller. The sailing time is ideal for observing from the sea the old defensive towers, the coves, the cliffs, the sea caves or the small islands characteristic of the area.

In the port of Sóller, after lunch, the tram will be waiting for you to take you to the town of Sóller . There, you will visit the historic centre to learn about the history of this beautiful town.

The final touch to the excursion is the famous wooden train of Sóller, built in 1912. You will cross the valley of Sóller and pass through several tunnels that offer privileged views of the valley until you reach the town of Buñola. Once there, the bus will pick you up and drop you back at your hotel or selected pick-up point .
