Step by Step
This activity takes place aboard a double-decker catamaran that sails along a stretch of the west coast of Ibiza, a more unspoilt and less touristy coastline. For this reason, it is especially suitable for those who want to do an outdoor activity, having the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal clear waters of the island.
The excursion lasts approximately 7 hours and includes not only mask and snorkel rental, but also fresh fruit, soft drinks and some alcoholic beverage options.
Normally, the catamaran departs from the port of Sant Antoni de Portmany and once on board, the following stages are planned:
- Aquarium Cap Blanc - A different cultural space. It is located in a natural cave known as "Sa Cova des Peix". In the past, fishermen used it to breed lobsters, while today it is home to turtles, groupers, rays, stingrays, damselfish and dozens of other local species. The ticket is included in the tour.
- Cala Salada Beach - A stretch of coastline that has retained its old charm. On the shore there are still the little dry dock houses used as sheds for small boats.
- Ses Balandres - A beautiful cove and, at the same time, almost impossible to reach by land. Long and narrow, it is bordered by steep cliffs that give it a unique charm. A short distance off the coast are the islets of Ses Margalides.
If you wish, you can also try bodyboarding. It is a sport similar to surfing: the board is smaller and you swim upside down. Thanks to the thrust of the fins you can glide quickly over the water. You can find all the equipment on the catamaran.
