Step by Step

Just a few kilometres from Cuenca you'll find landscapes of great charm, which you'll be able to explore accompanied by a local guide. You will travel in a comfortable bus that departs from the centre of the city of La Mancha. The route lasts approximately 9 hours and includes the following points:

  • Ventano del Diablo (Devil's Window): a viewpoint overlooking the Júcar Ravine, where the river of the same name flows. According to local legend, it was the devil's favourite place to hold sabbats and dark rituals.
  • Enchanted City: a unique and singular landscape, made up of large blocks of limestone polished by the action of the elements. Wind and water have moulded rocks in the shape of elephants, seals, dogs and other creatures and objects.
  • Source of the Cuervo River: declared a Natural Monument, it is characterised by the small waterfalls that give life to the river.
  • Laguna de Uña: a small lake framed in the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park. It is a popular destination for walks, as there is a path along the shores.

On the way back, the tour stops at a typical restaurant. Lunch is not included, but you have the opportunity to taste the gastronomy of La Mancha.
