Miró was known for his paintings, murals and ceramic works. You will have the opportunity to explore some 15,000 paintings and sculptures of modern and contemporary art on your tour of the Foundation.
Some of Miró's works include:
- Hermitage of Sant Joan d'Horta: a painting that shows sobriety, clarity and where the lines stand out notably, done in oil on cardboard in 1917.
- Calle de Pedralbes : representation of one of the streets of Barcelona done on paper with pastel technique, Indian ink and graphite pencil in 1917.
- L'ampolla de vi: a painting from 1924 depicting a bottle of wine on a small piece of cardboard painted in oil, with a dedication to his parents written on it.
