Step by Step

See Lisbon with a special charm from a sailboat in the evening light on this two-hour cruise along the Tagus River, which includes a welcome drink on board. A unique experience, thanks to the participation of small groups, to ensure you make the most of the ride along the waters of the Tagus and visit sites such as the Praça do Comércio and many more.

Enjoy contemplating some of the historical points and emblematic monuments of the Portuguese capital, from the perspective offered by this tour. One of them is the 25th of April Bridge. Built in steel between 1962 and 1966, it is more than two kilometres long and crosses the Tagus River at a height of 190 metres.

You can also see the Museum of Art, Architecture and Technology. Located on the banks of the Tagus River, this museum, which opened in 2016, has an impressive architecture, which will leave you speechless. It hosts national and international exhibitions for contemporary artists, architects and thinkers.

Another monument you will see is the Monument to the Discoverers. Built in 1960 by sculptor Leopoldo de Almeida and architect José Ângelo Cottinelli Telmo, it was made to commemorate the 500th anniversary of the death of Henry the Navigator. It is a stone monolith in the shape of a 52-metre-high caravel on which 33 personalities representative of the Age of Discoveries are depicted looking out over the Tagus.

You will also discover the Belem Tower. This is a military fortification built between 1516 and 1519 on the banks of the Tagus River. Since then, it has served to defend Lisbon and has acted as a prison and port for Portuguese explorers and discoverers. It is recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site .

You will also see the Sanctuary of Cristo Rei, a religious monument dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. It was built after the Second World War, inspired by the Christ the Redeemer in Rio de Janeiro as thanks to God for Portugal's non-participation in the terrible war. The Christ is 28 metres high and the whole construction stands 113 metres above the Tagus River.

Super nice staff, great service. For my age I'm quite complicated and I have my own problems, so I congratulate the attention they gave me.
