Step by Step

Stroll and admire the streets of Lisbon during this 3 to 4 hour city tour. Therefore, as you can see, this tour is done on foot with groups of about 20 people. This way, the group is not too big and you can walk comfortably. Moreover, you will not walk alone as you will be accompanied by a local tour guide during the whole tour.

This guide will explain each of the places you visit, whether they are monuments or entire neighbourhoods of the city. Specifically, some of the most important monuments you will visit are:

  • Lisbon Cathedral: Romanesque style, built in 1147.
  • Restauradores Square: dedicated to the restoration after Portugal's independence.
  • Rossio Square: the nerve centre of the city.
  • Praça do Comércio: beautiful square by the Tagus River.

However, Lisbon is not all about monuments. You will also visit the famous Arab quarter of Alfama. This is Lisbon's oldest neighbourhood, which survived the devastating earthquake that struck the capital in 1755. Another of the most emblematic neighbourhoods of the city is the Chiado neighbourhood, which you will also get to know on the tour.

In addition, this tour includes several tastings. Specifically, you'll enjoy wine tastings and traditional tapas from Lisbon and nearby regions. Not forgetting the capital's most emblematic dessert, a small cream cake .

Apart from being a fantastic tour, he showed us shortcuts, where to eat, where to shop, clarified our doubts about public transport and how to visit the surroundings, perfect to start our visit to Lisbon.
