Step by Step
This tour starts in Lagos and goes to Ponta da Piedade, one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline in the Algarve. After a boat trip, you can dive into the sea and take a kayak tour accompanied by an expert guide. The experience lasts approximately 2 hours.
Ponta da Piedade is a famous promontory on the Algarve coast. It is located a few kilometres from Lagos and is characterised by high cliffs dotted with sea caves. Some of the rocks resemble camels, submarines or cathedrals, making for an impressive landscape. On sunny days you can see the parish of Sagres, located in the extreme south of Portugal.
During the boat trip, the guide will explain the genesis of the rock formations and, with a bit of luck, you can observe the local fauna, such as dolphins, turtles or the peregrine falcons that nest on the cliffs.
The boat trip takes place in a boat that allows easy passage through inlets and caves, while providing comfort for passengers. For this excursion, it is recommended to bring a beach towel, swimming costume and sunscreen.
