With this exciting half-day excursion along the Alesund coast, you will get to know the most important places in Norwegian history. Together with an expert guide and other travellers, you will enjoy a truly scenic journey.
This tour, which will last about 4.5 hours, will start from the pier in the town of Alesund. Here you will meet your guide and board a bus . From your comfortable seat you will be able to enjoy beautiful panoramic views and natural landscapes. From stunning cliffs to waterfalls, you will also see crystal clear waters.
Along the way, you will have the opportunity to make several stops . Your first stop will be to visit the Sunnmore Museum . For approximately 75 minutes you can explore this open-air museum and see old houses and boats dating from the Middle Ages to the present day. You will then continue your tour until you reach the Giske church, where you can take a short break and take a photo of the building. Here your guide will give you interesting information about the history of this 12th century church .
As well as learning all about the local history of the region, you can also climb the stairs of the Alnes lighthouse on the island of Godoy and enjoy the magnificent panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.
This tour is perfect if you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. For approximately a couple of hours you can enjoy the tranquillity of Norwegian nature, until you arrive back in port.
