Step by Step
Get tickets to the Heineken Experience, where you can learn about Amsterdam's best-selling and most exported beer. Included with your ticket is an audio guide so you can learn about the history of the brand as well as an easy way to learn about it.
Beer is the most exported product in the Netherlands, with Heineken being the most representative brand throughout the country. Its origins date back to the 18th century, and from then until today it has managed to evolve into the beer we know today.
During the tour, you will see the first cans in which it was bottled, the fermentation and storage areas, and even the bottling process. In this way, you will learn about the beer itself and also about everything associated with the brand, such as the change of its logo over the years.
Hearing about so much beer tends to make you very thirsty, so to make sure you don't leave with a dry mouth, 2 glasses of beer are also included for each visitor. If you don't like the taste of beer, or are not old enough to drink, soft drinks can be substituted for the beers.
