Marrakech Food Tour

In this activity, which lasts around 3 hours, you will have the opportunity to visit the local markets of Marrakech and discover the flavours of its gastronomy. You'll be accompanied by an expert guide, who will teach you lots of interesting facts about the history, culture and food of this Moroccan city.

You will pass by the medina of Marrakech and visit various local food stalls, where you can sample olives, dates, traditional Moroccan bread, spices, tea, and much more. Your guide will accompany you through the labyrinths of the historic city centre, giving you a unique insight into daily life in Marrakech .

You will end the tour at the Djemaa el Fna market , in the heart of the city. Once there, you will have the opportunity to taste the delicious kofta, a traditional Moroccan dish cooked with minced meat. The activity includes around ten tastings, after which you will be able to finish the experience full and satisfied.

Marrakech is one of Morocco's four imperial cities, and one of the most important in the country. With nearly 1,000 years of history, the city has a vast historical, cultural and architectural heritage. It is considered the most international city in the country, with a large expatriate community living there.

The Djemaa el Fna market is the largest and best-known market in Marrakesh and one of the busiest in Africa. It is located just a few metres from the Kutubia Mosque, the city's main place of worship. Next to the market, a multitude of minarets and more modest mosques stand alongside the Kutubia.
