Cancun, located in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, is well known for its tourist attraction, beaches, hotels and nightlife. However, this area is full of virgin jungle and unknown beaches, which are a curiosity for travellers who want a different experience.
There are numerous sites of one of the great pre-Hispanic civilisations in the area. Besides the best known, Chichen Itza, 300 kilometres from Cancun, there are also the San Miguelito Ruins, the King's Ruins and Uxmal. Most of these buildings have been declared World Heritage Sites.
In addition to the quad tour, you can take a dip in one of the cenotes included in the tour. If you want even more adrenaline, you can jump from a zip line located in the middle of the jungle. To finish and get into the culture of the area, you will be able to taste several types of tequila.
