Step by Step

Discover Osaka with this guided tour. This is a very personalised experience for small groups that lasts around three hours with a local guide accompanying you. Throughout this walking tour of the city, the third largest in Japan, you can enjoy a kushikatsu (fried snack) and a non-alcoholic drink.

Osaka is a bustling city with a unique character, and is a major destination for travellers looking to experience Japanese culture first-hand. It is located on the island of Honshu and currently has a population of around 19 million people.

On this tour you will have kushikatsu, one of Japan's most popular dishes, which consists of deep-fried skewers of meat, seafood and vegetables. The ingredients are battered and fried until they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside.

It is worth noting that Osaka is known for its spectacular food scene, with a variety of local dishes such as takoyaki, which are like octopus dumplings, as well as savoury pancakes called okonomiyaki.

On this tour you will pass through a variety of places, such as the famous Dotonbori Street, which is lined with restaurants, bars and shops.

But in addition to its food culture, Osaka has a lot of history and numerous attractions bear witness to it. For example, you will pass by Hozenji Temple, a small Buddhist temple located in the heart of a busy district of Osaka and characterised by its moss-covered statue of the deity Fudo Myo-o.

It is worth noting that the underground will be used up to twice during this tour, although the fare is not included.
