  • Choose an indicative date when making your booking. Don't worry: the time of use of your ticket won't start to count until you use it for the first time.
  • Decide whether you want a 24-hour, 2-day, 3-day or 7-day travel card.
  • Validate your ticket with your first journey at the ticket machines, at the turnstiles in the bus stations or at the airport.

Step by Step

What means of transport are included in the transport pass?

  • Vaporettos (water buses): Perfect for getting around Venice's canals and exploring islands such as Murano, Burano, Torcello and Lido.
  • ACTV buses: Connections between Venice and land areas such as Mestre and Marghera.
  • Trenitalia Urban Network Trains (only if you buy a day ticket): An efficient alternative for getting around Mestre and other parts of the Veneto region.
  • People Mover Monorail: Connects Piazzale Roma with the island of Tronchetto and the seaport.
  • Aerobus: A convenient transfer between Marco Polo Airport and Venice. One way (one way or return trip as you choose).

What is not covered by the transport card?

  • Water taxis and gondola rides.
  • Services operated by companies such as Alilaguna.
  • Journeys outside the ACTV network, such as journeys to other cities in Italy.

What duration options does the travel card offer?

  • 75 minutes: This pass only includes one way to or from Marco Polo Airport. It does not include all other transport options.
  • 1 day (24 hours): Unlimited access to all the above services for one day. Also includes Trenitalia rail service within the municipality of Venice.
  • 2 days (48 hours): Ideal for longer stays and full explorations of Venice and the islands.
  • 3 days (72 hours): A perfect pass for an extended visit including transfers and excursions.
  • 7 days: Designed for those planning to stay a week in or around the city.

How is the time of use of the travel card counted?

The validity starts counting from the moment you first validate the ticket and lasts for the specified time in consecutive hours. For example, a 2-day pass activated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday will be valid until 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday.

How do I validate my ticket?

  • Locate a validation machine: You will find validators at vaporetto stations or on board ACTV buses.
  • Enter your PNR code: This code, which appears on the voucher received at the time of purchase, must be entered directly into the machine. Note: do not use the QR code, only the PNR code.

What happens if I don't validate my ticket?

Travelling without validation can lead to fines or penalties. Be sure to validate whenever you start a new journey or change means of transport.

Can I carry luggage with this pass?

Yes, the pass allows you to carry up to three pieces of luggage, as long as their combined dimensions do not exceed 150 cm.

What are the advantages compared to buying separate tickets?

  • Savings: A more economical option if you plan to make several journeys.
  • Convenience: No need to buy additional tickets during the validity of the pass.
  • Full coverage: Access to all ACTV services and airport transfer, no need to worry about extras.

Comfortable, practical and the best possible option for transport. Walking is complicated and remember it's a car-free city! Best to buy it in advance

It's my 3rd time in Venice and for the first time I bought this ticket. From now on it will be the only thing I do before coming, highly recommended.

Strolling around the boats in Venice is like taking a mini tour of the city, so this ticket is like a 2 in 1. We loved it!
