How does the Roma Explorer Pass work?

It's very simple. When you buy this pass you will receive a digital version in the mail, you can use it to access the attractions or synchronise it with the app that you will be given. In your pass you will also find all the detailed information about the attractions, how to make reservations for those that require it, activation and general operation of the pass.

How do I activate the pass?

You have 1 year from the date of purchase to activate your pass by using it for the first time at one of the included attractions. Once activated, you have 30 days to visit the number of attractions you have chosen.

What are the advantages of the pass?

The pass allows you to choose between different options depending on the number of attractions you wish to visit from over 50 tourist attractions. You can choose a 2, 3, 4, 4, 5, 6 and 7 attraction pass, giving you the flexibility to customise your itinerary according to your interests and preferences.

Are there any attractions that require advance booking?

While you don't have to choose in advance all the activities you are going to do, many of them do require advance booking, which you can do through the app by following the instructions that you will receive after making your reservation.

Do children need a pass?

The pass also offers reduced rates for children between the ages of 5 and 15. If you're travelling with children under 5, you won't need to buy a pass for them, as children's tickets are usually free in Rome.
