Step by Step

This special package gives you the opportunity to discover two of Rome's most iconic sites in one day. Start your adventure at the Mamertine Prison, also known as the Tullianum, the oldest prison in the city. Located in the heart of Rome, this historic prison housed illustrious prisoners, including St. Peter and St. Paul .

The included audio guide will guide you through the underground cells, offering an in-depth insight into the conditions of imprisonment and the historical events that took place at this site.

In addition to the Mamertine Prison, you will have direct access to the Arena of the Gladiators, the central platform where the fights took place. This exclusive entrance allows you to walk on the same ground that the gladiators walked on, offering a unique perspective of the amphitheatre and its stands.

From the arena, you can appreciate the scale and impressive architecture of the Colosseum, while imagining the spectacles that once entertained thousands of spectators. In addition, you will have access to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, completing a full immersion into ancient Rome.
