Step by Step
By signing up for this approximately 15-hour tour you will explore Capri, one of the most paradisiacal islands in southern Italy, at your leisure.
You'll depart by bus from Rome to Naples, then board a ferry at the port for Capri, where the popular Piazzetta, the island's historic cultural centre, awaits, offering a variety of fashionable shops, cafes and restaurants.
Local landmarks include the Clock Tower and the ancient cathedral of Santo Stefano, a beautiful religious complex that borders the main square.
If you wish, tell the tour leader that you would like to visit the popular Blue Grotto by boat. Although entrance is not included in the price of the tour, he will be happy to help you with this activity to experience a natural wonder where the light illuminates the deep blue sea, giving it a surreal crystalline touch.
Your experience will take on another dimension as you see the Villa Jovis, the Roman palace on the summit of Mount Tiberius, where the Emperor Tiberius is said to have lived for part of his reign between 14 and 37 AD.
You will also pass through the Gardens of Augustus, a botanical centre that stands out among terraces that point towards the sea, offering you a flowery and lush landscape that matches the deep blue of the sea in the background.
