Step by Step
On this excursion, which lasts about 10 hours, you will have the opportunity to sail from Naples to the towns of Positano and Amalfi. On board a comfortable boat with an expert crew, you will cruise along the Amalfi coast, famous all over the world for its colourful beaches, cliffs and towns.
From the sea, you will be able to contemplate the wonders of this landscape, which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. Once on land, you will also have time to wander around both Positano and Amalfi.
Along the way, you will also find places worth seeing, such as the Cala di Mitigliano, the Baia di Ieranto or the island of Li Galli . Once in Positano, you can admire the picturesque pastel-coloured houses that overlook the cliffs overlooking the sea. In town, some of the most worthwhile places to visit are the following:
- Church of Santa María de la Asunción: A picturesque church located near the coast, whose construction dates back to the 10th century. From the top of the town, you can see the views of the church almost at the foot of the sea, in a beautiful landscape.
- Piazza dei Mulini: The main shopping area in Positano. The square is full of local shops, modern boutiques and clothing boutiques specialising in bespoke designs.
After Positano, you will continue to Amalfi, where you will also have time to do some sightseeing on your own. Some of Amalfi's highlights include:
- The Cathedral of St. Andrew the Apostle: It is located in the Piazza del Duomo. The cathedral's origins date back to the 9th century, and it houses treasures from ancient Constantinople, which are believed to have been brought to the city during the 13th century. The predominant architectural style of the building is Arab-Norman, but it is also possible to see traces of Byzantine, Gothic and Baroque art.
The town, with its narrow streets and breathtaking views of the coastline, is also perfect for walking. Along the promenade, you can admire its small shops, its charming streets and its multitude of restaurants serving traditional Italian food. During this stop, you can add a visit to Ravello to your route. A minibus will pick you up in Amalfi to take you to Ravello and take advantage of your free time to visit this picturesque town.
At the end of the activity, you will return to the original starting point.
