Milan's Duomo is one of the most visited monuments in Italy, and with good reason. This 108-metre-high Gothic masterpiece, with a capacity for 40,000 people, is spectacular. Inside, you will be amazed by the height of its nave, which reaches 45 metres, the highest among the Gothic vaults of a complete church. Every step you take inside will reveal new and fascinating details, but that's not all. With this ticket, you can also explore the baptistery and the Duomo Museum, where you will discover how this marvel took shape over six centuries, under the direction of dozens of architects. Please note that it is closed on Wednesdays.
From the rooftop of the Duomo, you'll have the city of Milan at your feet. See the iconic gargoyles, the stylised spires and the numerous statues that adorn the temple. Don't miss the Madonnina, a majestic golden statue of more than 4 metres that crowns the highest point of the building, a view that will fascinate you!
You will also have the opportunity to visit the Church of San Gottardo, a hidden gem from the 14th century that once served as the chapel of the Doge's Palace. This small church, simple but full of history, is now embedded in the walls of the palace, a detail that makes it even more special. Like the museum, this church is closed every Wednesday.
Don't hesitate, the heart of Milan awaits you from the majestic Duomo!
