Step by Step

Join this Italian coastal tour where you can visit five picturesque villages in the province of La Spezia, known as Cinque Terre. Over the course of about 12 hours, you will get to know the Italian Riviera of the Liguria region and visit the towns of Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore . You will travel in a comfortable, air-conditioned bus departing from Milan.

With an expert guide, you will learn about the history and culture of these 5 emblematic villages, which were declared World Heritage Sites by UNESCO in 1997. The excursion will depart from Milan, from where you will arrive directly to the Cinque Terre by taking the coastal route. In Manarola you will have free time to stroll through the vineyards and enjoy the pastel-coloured houses and the quaysides lapped by the waters of the Ligurian Sea.

You will arrive by train in Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the five villages. Here you will also have free time to explore the town, visit its beaches (the longest in the region) and enjoy a lunch of authentic Italian food. From Monterosso, you will take a 90-minute cruise to the town of La Spezia.

This last leg of your boat trip will allow you to enjoy the beautiful views of the Italian Riviera, characterised by its white stone cliffs and the clear waters of the Ligurian Sea. On board the cruise, you will be able to admire the charming village of Portovenere from the sea, crowned by the impressive Doria Castle.

At the end of the sea journey, you will arrive in La Spezia, where a vehicle will pick you up and take you back to Milan, dropping you off at the original departure point .
