Join this tour, where you will have the opportunity to visit some of the most important historical sites in the West Bank region, such as Bethlehem, Jericho and the Jordan River . The activity will last about 11 hours, during which you will be accompanied by an expert guide, with whom you will discover many interesting facts about the culture and history of the places you will pass through.
In Bethlehem, you will visit the Church of the Nativity where, according to Christian tradition, Jesus Christ was born. The church was built in the 4th century and has undergone numerous restorations since then. It is an important pilgrimage site for Christians all over the world, and is considered a holy place.
You will continue your visit to Jericho, considered the oldest city in the world. In Jericho, you will visit the Mount of Temptation, where, according to Christian tradition, Jesus was tempted by the devil. The mountain has a monastery on top of the hill, which offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Jordan Valley. Should you choose this option, you can take a cable car ride to the top .
Finally, you will pass by the river where Jesus Christ was baptised by John the Baptist and learn about the importance of this river to the people of Israel today. At the end of the activity, you will return to the original starting point, as it is a round trip.
