Step by Step

Visit two cities, Blarney and Cork, in one day with this tour from Dublin. You'll spend around 12 hours on this experience, so departure is early in the morning, around 8am. These cities are separated by around 300km from Dublin, so all transfers are included on the tour in an air-conditioned vehicle.

Throughout these trips you will be accompanied by a tour guide who will give you an overview of the most important events in the city. In addition, during these trips, you will be able to see the beautiful Irish countryside with its green fields and mountains.

Another advantage of this tour is the entrance fees to some of the most important monuments, such as:

  • Cashel Rock: is located in Cork and is of great importance, as it was where St. Patrick lived. Today it is a Catholic church since it was donated by the Munster kings almost 1000 years ago.
  • Blarney Castle: you will have access to its interior, so you will be able to walk around and kiss its Kissing Stone. It is said that after kissing it you will live through 7 years of eloquent speeches. You will also have time to stroll through the beautiful gardens or even go to the Lake Walk.

In both cities you will have free time to wander around at your own pace and visit the places that catch your eye. On the return journey you will pass through Woolen Mills where you can shop for whatever you choose and take advantage of their duty free prices.

It is 100% worth it. We took some beautiful pictures and I enjoyed the scenery together with my girlfriend in a very nice way.

We were totally blown away by how beautiful Rock of Cashel and Blarney Castle are. They look like something out of a fairy tale. Both are very well preserved.

This tour from Dublin is a great option for those who want to see iconic sights in one day. The castle was one of my favourites.
