Step by Step
Not all of France's interesting monuments are concentrated in Paris. That's why on this tour you can visit the beautiful castles of Vaux le Vicomte and Chateaux Fontainebleau while being part of a small group of about 8 people. The tour lasts about 9 hours in total, taking into account all the private vehicle journeys which are already included in the experience.
Once you arrive at each of the castles, you will be able to enter the castles and enjoy the tour with an audio guide. You'll appreciate the castles' works of art, but you'll also feel part of their history as you walk through their halls and rooms.
In particular, the castle of Vaux le Vicomte is an impressive Baroque palace which served as inspiration for the Palace of Versailles. This already gives you a first idea of the external beauty of the castle. And if you bring the little ones with you, you can rent 17th century costumes for them to dress up in during the visit.
On the other hand, the Chateaux de Fontainebleau is the only royal castle that has been continuously inhabited for 7 centuries and has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site . In this case you will be transported to a more modern era, as this castle belongs to the Renaissance.
In addition, both castles have large gardens, lakes, fountains and meadows. So that you can enjoy them, you will have free time in each of the castles to stroll around at your leisure.
