One of the best visits I have made to any region of France. I wish I had done it at the beginning of my holiday and not at the end as it managed to change my appreciation of the country. I enjoyed it and learned a lot about history. It even left me thinking a lot.

I had already seen documentaries about the Second World War and knew a little about D-Day, but I have to say that I didn't even get a quarter of what I learnt on this tour on TV. The guide knew a great deal, and while you walk around you get a better understanding of the attack strategies and what actually happened!
