Step by Step

This tour of the east and west banks of the Nile in Luxor is the best way to get close to the area's most iconic sights. You will enjoy a full day private tour, with only your group taking part, adding exclusivity to the experience.

In addition, for a more personalised experience, you can choose between different packages:

  • Transport and bottled water.
  • Transport, bottled water, expert local guide and entrance fees to tourist attractions.
  • Transport, bottled water, expert local guide, entrance fees to tourist attractions and lunch.

The tour will take you to some of the most iconic sites on the banks of the Nile. On one bank, you will visit the Valley of the Kings and its famous tombs; the Temple of Hatshepsut, built by the only female pharaoh to reign in ancient Egypt; and the Colossi of Memnon, the remains of the mortuary temple of Amenhotep III.

You will then cross the Nile to the temples of Karnak and Luxor. The latter was built by Amenhotep III (in the 18th Dynasty in the New Kingdom) and later completed by Ramses II (in the 19th Dynasty). The temple of Karnak, dedicated to the god Amon and his family, is the greatest example of worship in history.

Excellent experience on this excursion, although it turned out to be a bit longer and more tiring than I expected, it was worth it for all the places I visited that day. Recommended to do it once.
