Step by Step

On this private tour you will have the opportunity, for around 9 hours, to explore some of Egypt's most important tourist attractions, such as the Pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo and the Khan El Khalili Bazaar. Throughout the tour, you will be accompanied by an expert guide, who will teach you about the history and importance of the monuments you will visit.

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven directly to the pyramids in a private vehicle . With your guide, you will explore the 178-metre high Great Pyramid of Cheops, as well as the Sphinx and the Temple of the Valley, while discovering many interesting facts about the ancient history of this land. You will also have the opportunity to take amazing photos of the landscape and monuments .

The Pyramids of Giza are a complex of three large pyramids built in the ancient city of Memphis, on the plain of Giza, about 15 km from Cairo. They were built between 2613 BC and 2494 BC, and are considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World .

The Great Sphinx of Giza is an imposing statue of a mythological creature with the body of a lion and a human head. It is believed to have been built during the reign of Pharaoh Khafre, around 2500 BC . It is approximately 73 metres long and 20 metres high, and has become an iconic symbol of Ancient Egypt and Egyptian culture in general.

Afterwards, you can visit the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, one of the most important museums in the world dedicated to the history of Ancient Egypt. It has an impressive collection of over 120,000 ancient artefacts, including the treasures of Tutankhamun, mummies and pharaonic statues. It is one of the city's main tourist attractions and a must-see for those interested in Egyptian history and culture.

Once you've seen the museum, you can head to Khan el Khalili, a medieval-style souk in the historic centre of Cairo. It is one of the largest and oldest bazaars in the Middle East and a popular place for tourists and locals alike. In the bazaar, you will find a wide variety of shops and stalls selling all kinds of handicrafts, antiques, jewellery, spices and textiles, among other products.

In addition to the opportunity to visit the various monuments mentioned above, you can, if you choose the option, enjoy a lunch of local Egyptian food that will allow you to enjoy the flavours of this country and learn more about its culture through its gastronomy.

At the end of the activity, you will be taken back to your hotel, as this is a round trip.

A complete and exhausting tour in equal parts. I found the visit to the museum incredible and the organisation of the tour was perfect. Highly recommended for everyone, although it is quite tiring to go on such a long walk.
