Step by Step

This excursion to Český Krumlov will make you feel like you are in an epic fairy tale. This is because you will visit one of the most beautiful and impressive medieval-style villages in the Czech Republic.

Your journey will start early in the morning, in a comfortable and modern bus from Prague, where you will set off to explore the old town of this must-see destination for tourists in the Czech Republic.

You will get to know the town on a private tour, exclusively for you and your group, which will give you a unique and personalised experience. You will walk through its narrow streets, which seem to have been trapped in the 13th century, when it was founded.

Among its village lanes, on the banks of the Vltava River, you will see a fusion of architectural styles, including Baroque, Gothic and Renaissance.

A professional guide will give you the most important historical details while you soak up the timeless essence of the place. Its main attraction, which you will have access to in this experience, is the Český Krumlov Castle.

Upon entering the castle, you will be amazed by its gardens, façade and the legendary revolving theatre, which has been preserved in its original state since the 17th century . Especially during the summer, theatre, ballet and opera seasons are held here.

After the ascent to the castle tower, which also houses a bell weighing about 1800 kg, you will get the most impressive panoramic view of the region. From there, you will see the colourful facades of the medieval-style houses in perfection.

When strolling through the Latran area, you can take pictures in front of the must-see monuments such as the Budweiser Gate. It is the only one of the town's nine ancient fortresses that remains intact, while the other eight were gradually demolished.

On the banks of the Vltava River sits the Church of St. Vitus, a marvellous and emblematic religious temple that preserves its Gothic, Neo-Gothic and Baroque style. Inside, you will be dazzled by the three historic naves under a sloping roof, while outside you can take pictures of the large octagonal tower, which can be seen from almost any point in Český Krumlov.

The historic centre of Český Krumlov, including its castle, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its cultural and historical sites that have left their mark on the country.

I would recommend this beautiful city to any tourist who is thinking of visiting Prague. Prague itself is beautiful, probably one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, but for the same reason, it is worth visiting its outskirts and broadening your horizons a bit from what you traditionally want to see.

The castle has an indescribable view! Beautiful city, it looked like a fairy tale. The great sunshine that day made the visit even better.

The tour was perfectly conducted in Spanish. We all spoke the language and were able to exchange information, questions and cultures with the guide.

I thought everything was very well chosen. To begin with, the restaurant where we ate was very good, the stops on the walks, the castle, the souvenir shops, etc. Complete and very well organised.
