If you want to see Prague Castle, considered the oldest castle in the world, this is your chance to see it for yourself and skip the queues to get in. In a tour that will last approximately 20 minutes, you will have the option of choosing between two circuits to complete your visit throughout the great complex.
A person will be waiting for you at the entrance to Prague Castle to give you your reserved tickets, followed by a brief introductory talk about the building, which dates back to the 9th century, and an orientation on how to guide you according to your chosen circuit.
In total you have two circuits for this experience. Firstly, you have circuit A, which covers very important buildings on the perimeter of the castle, such as St. Vitus Cathedral, considered the most important cathedral in Prague, the Old Royal Palace, the exhibition entitled The History of Prague Castle, and the Castle of St. Vitus. The second circuit is the Golden Alley with the Daliborka Tower, the Gunpowder Tower and the Rosenberg Palace.
Secondly, you have the so-called B circuit, which includes fewer options than the previous one, such as: the interiors of St. Vitus Cathedral, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and the Golden Alley with the Daliborka Tower.
It is worth noting that Prague Castle was founded around 880 by Prince Bořivoj of the Premyslid dynasty (Přemyslovci). According to the Guinness Book of Records, Prague Castle is the largest castle complex in the world, with an area of almost 70,000 square metres, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
