Step by Step
This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and combines the best of Montreal: beer culture and a visit to the Latin Quarter. The itinerary includes an expert guide who will take you to three breweries, and in each of them you will have the opportunity to try two pints. To accompany your drink, you'll have the chance to try a local speciality. Typically, this is poutine, a recipe originating in Quebec based on fried potatoes, cheese and gravy (made by mixing chicken stock, flour, water, salt and pepper).
As there are predetermined stages, you are not allowed to stop more than necessary at the intermediate ones, but you can stop at the last bar without any problems. Participants often stop at the last bar to chat and repeat their favourite pint.
Please note that there is no predetermined list of breweries. The route may change from day to day, but one thing always remains the same: the quality of the malt-based beverage. If you have any specific requests regarding intolerances, please indicate this at the time of booking.
Contrary to what you might think, the tour does not focus exclusively on beer, but also includes explanations of some of the city's attractions. In addition to the aforementioned Latin Quarter, the guide will tell you anecdotes about places like Place Saint-Louis, Place des Arts and Rue Saint-Denis.
