With this exciting guided tour of Halifax, you'll immerse yourself in the history and culture of this Canadian coastal city in Nova Scotia . During this half-day tour, lasting approximately 6 hours , an expert guide will accompany you along the way with interesting commentary, stories and anecdotes about the city .

This tour starts with pick-up from any hotel in downtown Halifax or from a central meeting point. You will board a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle and together with a small group of about 10 people on board you will travel the length and breadth of the city. This tour will take you to another part of historic Halifax. You'll pass through the quaint fishing village of Fisherman's Cove and Dartmouth, where you can see Lake Banook and enjoy a fresh seafood lunch on your own if you wish.

Throughout this tour, you'll see many of Halifax's other historic and iconic sites . From Pier 21 to Georges Island, you'll also see the Halifax Farmers' Market, the Alexander Keith Brewery, the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia.

You'll also see important buildings and monuments such as The Emigrant Statue and the statue of Sir Samuel Cunard, as well as St George's Round Church, the Town Hall, the historic Province House, and many more. From historic palaces, basilicas, churches and cemeteries, you will also see its many chapels, public gardens and universities.

Your guide, who will accompany you throughout the journey, will provide you with interesting information about the region's rich maritime history including the Titanic tragedy . He or she will also give you recommendations on other sights to see and restaurants to eat on your own.

A bottle of water will be provided at the start of the tour to keep you hydrated throughout the day.
